A refreshing and spicy coconut relish typically served as a side with rice, hoppers, or bread.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated fresh coconut
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 dried red chilies
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Maldive fish flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Grind the dried red chilies and salt into a fine paste.
- Add chopped onions and continue grinding until well mixed.
- Add grated coconut and mix thoroughly.
- Squeeze in lime juice and adjust seasoning.
- Serve as a side dish with rice or bread.
